  • Dr Alan Atlas

    Dr. Alan Atlas received his D.M.D from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine and currently holds a dual appointment as Clinical Professor in the Department of Endodontics and the Preventive/Restorative Sciences. He is Director of Restorative Microscopy at Penn Dental Medicine teaching the only curriculum-based course worldwide dedicated to training students to perform precision dentistry and improve chairside ergonomics using the dental microscope. Dr. Atlas also maintains a full time private practice dedicated to esthetic and comprehensive restorative dentistry located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.  Dr. Atlas is an internationally recognized lecturer and researcher whose unique academic and private practice perspective is focused on applying scientific based protocols to general and advanced clinical dentistry. His presentations span worldwide including Japan, Africa, Australia, Middle East, China, South Korea, Europe and the United States.

     

  • Dr. Yoshitsugu Terauchi

    Dr. Terauchi earned his DDS in 1993 and completed his residency at Tokyo Medical & Dental University in 1995, where he also received his PhD from the Department of Endodontics. He is an Adjunct Professor at the Department of Endodontics Faculty of Dentistry Bahçeşehir University İstanbul, Turkey, an Adjunct Clinical Assistant Professor of Endodontics at Boston University Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine, and a part-time lecturer at Tokyo Medical & Dental University. He also maintains a private practice limited to endodontics in Tokyo, Japan. He has published articles in peer-reviewed journals nationally and internationally. He authored several chapters in textbooks including the 11th and the 12th editions of “Pathways of the Pulp”, “Endodontics: the 6th edition of Principles and Practice”, and “Retreatments Solution for Periapical Disease of Endodontic Origin”. He lectures globally and is the founder of the Dental Arts Academy in Tokyo, Japan.

  • Dr Sam Kratchman

    Dr. Sam Kratchman received a B.S. and D.M.D. both from Tufts University in Boston, Massachusetts. Sam received a Certificate of Endodontics from the University of Pennsylvania where he currently serves as Associate Professor of Endodontics and the Assistant Director of Graduate Endodontics, in charge of the microsurgical portion of the program. Dr. Kratchman has authored several articles and chapters on endodontics in both journals and for Dental Clinics of North America and has co-authored the textbook of Endodontic Microsurgery with Dr. Kim in 2017. Dr. Kratchman lectures on several topics of endodontics throughout the United States, Europe, Scandinavia, South America, Canada and Asia. He also maintains four private practices, limited to endodontics, in Exton, West Chester, Paoli and Bryn Mawr Pennsylvania.
